Park & Lake Verdures
Two of our most popular designs, Park & Lake Verdure are often sold as a pair. Pleasingly symmetrical in their portrait shape, they are often hung either side of a bed or fireplace and can fit into a multitude of schemes. Their design is based on the classic style for verdures originating from 17th & 18th century France and Belgium. Using the finest wools and silks, craftsmen often wove scenes of lush landscapes in a rich palette of indigo and teal. This sophisticated pair draw you deep into the forest, past a pretty lake in the foreground to the parkland beyond.
